The HVAC-R certificate program is designed to give students a head start in the field of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration and on the path to a Journeymans’ license. As a graduate you will be qualified to apply for the TDLR registered ACR technician License. EPA license training and testing is included. Get a thorough and complete education in this field that also includes refrigeration design, installation and maintenance. Several financial assistance programs may be available to applicants to help pay for the education.

All options are 30 weeks in length
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics*, job openings for HVAC-R technicians is projected to grow 5 percent through 2030. The median average annual wage is reported to be over $48,000 in 2021
