The Advanced Electrical and Renewable Energy Technician certificate program is designed to give students a head start in the electrical field on the path to a Journeymans’ license. As a graduate you will be qualified to apply for the TDLR Apprentice Electricians License. Get a thorough and complete education in this field that also includes solar panel design, installation and maintenance. Several financial assistance programs may be available to applicants to help pay for the education.

All options are 30 weeks in length.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics*, job openings for electricians are projected to grow 9 percent through 2030 – more than the projected job growth outlook of 7.7 percent for all occupations total. The median average annual wage is reported to be over $60,000 in 2021.
